The Director of Development leads The Diabetes Link’s fundraising and advancement strategy, ensuring the expansion and sustainability of fundraising initiatives and revenue streams. This role involves individual giving, major gifts, grants, corporate memberships, sponsorships, and earned income. They will design and execute a comprehensive development program that balances immediate revenue needs with long-term growth opportunities.

The Development Director leads revenue-generating fundraising and development activities for the organization, cultivating and maintaining positive relationships with current and potential donors. This individual has an immediate impact on the organization’s fundraising and development activities and messaging. The Development Director works closely with the Board’s Resource Development Committee and collaborates with a team of professionals.
